My name is Donovan Dolde and I am the proud owner of Digital Synergy HD, Inc. My business was started as an in-house option of transferring video tapes (most formats except the old reel to reel) in the Winter Haven/Auburndale, FL area back in the summer of 2003. Many of our clients were hesitant to ship off their most valuable keepsakes to some out-of-state wharehouse . We still do a lot of transfers but have expanded to event videos (sporting events/weddings/graduations/commercials and infomercials for businesses), photography, and post production editing (Mac & PC). We’ve also been working with High Definition video since 2007!
Some highlights include:
- Adding narration to old family footage to “pass on” who some of those people actually are
- Worked closely with the Winter Haven Blue Devils football team on both the JV & Varsity level
- Spent nearly 3 years with Stephan Fox (now playing for Brown University) of All Saints and Lake Region fame…36 colleges were “hitting” his online highlight video to see what he was made of – this sure beats the DVD route says mom, Sylvia!
- Helped a local actress who is a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) develop a 3 minute video showcasing her recent works in TV and the movies
- When I worked for a local auto insurance company (the one with a lizard) I produced 5 major productions for in house training and special celebrations
- I made the Spring 2006 Lakeland Magazine for a wedding shoot – Thanks Michelle and Kevin!
- I have worked with many area and local businesses on MAJOR projects to assist in their photo and video needs (including commercials)
- Recorded and cut 2 CD’s for the Lake Region music department
- I have given back to the community by doing some pro bono work for local charities (War Survivors & The Sunshine Foundation)
- Started streaming online, high quality video (leaps and bounds above You Tube) back in October of 2007
- Worked with local Christian rap artists on CD jackets and an upcoming music video
- And most importanly, I have been blessed through my loving Savior, Jesus Christ to have a wonderful family and am still in business after all these years,and the struggling economy – I am Blessed!
